The Melbourne Shuffle Vs The Wog Wiggle
So this is my 1st entry on the infamous ITM Blogs campaign.
I need a public opinion on this one but one thing that really bugs me when i go out is having to battle for a slice of dancefloor action in a good club. dont get me wrong a packed club can be great for the dj's and promoters and sometimes the punters but when it becomes a muzz-fest its almost impossible to operate.
What i mean by 'operate' is to get a good groove on. Nothing shits me more than seeing some angry, roid headed overlord parting the clouds with his/her tree-stump arms and beating the shit out of an imaginary person constantly over and over again before they depart to the dunnies for more lines.
I understand that each person has thier own general or unique style of dance and the right to do it the way they want. But what confuses me is how this style 'Muzzing' is considered or concieved as an option.
It is so funny watching thier faces as they do it. As if they were in the gym, and the girls.. thats even funnier "Shes a sik bitch, wish i was dat sik!!" was what i heard from some girls standing at the bar. almost made me drop to the floor in hysterics.
Now, The melbourne shuffle is not all fun and games, it takes a while to learn and pull it off. but at least it resembles dance and dancing culture.
I will keep dancing till i run out of steam, its a great feeling and it keeps you fit.
But for all you Muzzers out there i am sure your style of dance will keep us entertained for many years to come also we wont have to worry about change cause thats exactly what it wont do.
>>Peace.
