I think i owe you a blog............
CAUSE ITS BEEN AGES!!!
So how are you all? whats been happening? and how is the New Year?
Myself, had a killer time on NYE at this warehouse/rooftop party in the CBD, no shit an amazing party to say the least.
Been buying some new tunes at the moment but there is alot of crap amongst the gems so much so that i would listen to 50 records and only walk away with 6 or 7 of them.
Some really nice armind productions, Otten, and so forth so new demo in the making.
I think i owe Alley Tunes a visit! They are wicked when producers suck balls. cause its all quality music so much of it!
Christmas was fun, got to finally open up my 1980 bottle of Port and enjoy that with some pudding!
Birthday was unreal! (turned 21 on xmas day) forllowed by an insane night at Billboards for a Kandy bender featuring Organ Donors.
Organ Donors were fucking wicked! massive buildups, classics and wicked showmanship!
Was a great silly season! only a year to go till the next one.
Hope you all had as much fun, Summer is my favorite time of the year, and hopefully get to lounge around in the sun with a neverending pint in hand very soon!
Going to have a surf this weekend, 1st surf of the season. god dammit im late.
anyway. Cosmic Gate fan club member for life.
Also thought i would let you know that our next INTERVIEW is on January 14th @ Tilt (thats not this weekend but the next)
and i am really excited!! after the first one it has set a benchmark as to how much fun can possibly be had in a night.
From 3am to 5am i am playing my idea of genuine trance, not the wishy washy stuff either....
We also have Steve May from Coldharbour and Armarda recordings playing too..... :):):)

DJ Bio's
Andrew Campbell
Andrew Campbell is well-known in Melbourne's progressive and trance circles, and for good reason. His globally broadcast radio show "The Sounds of Downunder" has presented exclusive mix sets from diverse artists such as Gabriel and Dresden, Perry O'Neil, Kyau vs. Albert, Ronski Speed and a wide cross section of Melbourne's finest DJs including Gavin Kietel, Mark James and Steve May. His versatile blend of progressive house is both melodic and driving which has been packing dance floors at Unify, 5AM and more.
Ben Evans
In terms of musical taste, Ben Evans knows how to please a crowd. His closing set for the first Interview stretched to nearly three hours and left the bar staff with no choice but to evacuate the dance floor once the sun came up. In addition to running Interview, Ben has played with Volume, 5AM, Deliverance, Bassic, Transcendence and more, and his mix of cutting edge releases and ‘undiscovered classics’ have made Ben as well-known for his record collection as for his enthusiasm and energy behind the decks.
Araemo
Araemo in a few words: Wicked tunes, tasty sampling and scratching, and an infectious smile. With a never-ending supply of enthusiasm behind the decks and a burning desire to share her overflowing elation for the beats, Jo’s weekly Friday night residency at Bimbo Deluxe has proven her abilities to rock a party. Let her inviting blend of rolling breaks, smooth electro and funked up tech-house fuel both your inner and external groove.
Jules Plees
An adaptable DJ whos style ranges through thumping progressive, electro, trance and psy, Jules’ many years of club experience lets him play either purist or party style with equal ease. Jules finds the crowds level and plays to it. Jules long list of recent gigs and supports include Pete Tong, Tiesto, Christopher Lawrence, Nick Warren, Volume, Slinky, Godskitchen, Found@Thirst, Obsession, Pvt Function, 5AM, Unify, and KissFM.
Julian Reynolds
Julian has been DJjing in and around Melbourne for the last 6 years, playing everything from progressive to hard trance at various clubs, including Bass Station where he recently completed a three year residency. He has now turned his hand to playing the sound of Melbourne – big and dirty house – as a weekly resident at Tuned Nightclub in the "smack house room", and with various guest spots around town! If his not rocking behind the decks you've probably seen him working at Melbourne's premiere online record store, Vinyl Warning.
Matt Belleghem
Canadian refugee Matthew Belleghem has been playing, studying and working in the music industry for nearly fifteen years, using his experience to pack his record box with what he describes as ‘so much explosive material we should probably notify the Canadian embassy’. As the man behind the counter at Vinyl Warning, Matt’s evangelism for big tracks is as legendary as his bald head and cheeky grin. As well as being Ben’s partner in crime running Interview, Matt can be found behind the decks at venues and parties across the city on a regular basis.
Nikko
versatility seems to be the order of the night for quite some time now but it has been in nikko's playbook from day one. fusing eclectic selections of house, prog and trance with impeccable mixing, dancing is easy with Nikko behind the console.
Steve May
As an international DJ, he’s played his unique blend of melodic beats to crowds on four continents. As a recording artist he’s currently signed to Armada/Coldharbour, with his original compositions turning up on CDs by Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, Paul Van Dyk and Hernan Cattaneo, the global radio broadcasts of Armin Van Buuren, and in the record boxes of scores of top-tier international DJs. Interview is proud to present Steve May for an exclusive two-hour set that is certain to change the way you think about your musical boundaries.
