Picture a husband and wife. The husband is sitting on the edge of his chair watching the back-end of the news while the wife is cutting up an orange nearby in the adjoining kitchen. She is absently watching the news as well. A story comes on about a zoo:

 

WIFE:            OH goodness! What happened to that dog?

HUSBAND:   That's a hippopotamus.
