Nov. 7, 2005 - My favourite Sydney DJ at Tank this Friday.
Tank is an AMAZING club in Sydney. In the past it was run by wankers who pulled an equally shit crowd. They were rude, posey and didn't even look like they were having fun. Coke whores. The lot of them. Plus the dude who used to run it used to bring out decent internationals. He would make it so there was no pre-sold tickets. So not wanting to miss out, people would get there early to ensure they got in. He would play from 10-1 (the international would start at 1) and not allow any pass outs. Forcing people to listen to your set aint cool!
BUT then a couple of a weeks ago, a promoter extrodinaire took over. Now the club is filled to the brim with fun, friendly people. HURRAY! What's cooler is that my brother is playing there this Friday. So come along and join the fun dooo daaah.
I know Im biased but my brother, Synik is one of my fave DJs in the whole wide world. Technically his shit is BANANAs B-A-N-A-N-A-S (not N)and I love his music! HURRAY again! My personal choice of his mixes is featured below. There is some cool house infused with ACID (later in the mix)! My pick of tracks are 40mins and then 50mins into it. Also a little German number called "Discotecha" at about 1:09.
